P&C Association

The P&C Committee raises additional funds through various fundraising events to support projects needed within the school. Membership in the P&C is open to all parents and citizens of the school community, and everyone is encouraged to attend P&C meetings. These are held in Week 5, on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. To vote, you must be a financial member, which requires a donation to the P&C (between 20 cents and $2). The P&C Committee consists of an executive board, including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, School Principal, and at least three other financial members. Additionally, there are subcommittees for Fundraising, Canteen, and Uniforms. All P&C positions are open for election at the beginning of each year during the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Agendas and minutes from all meetings are available at the front office.

Joining the P&C is a fantastic way to meet new people and have a say in your child’s education at Quinns Beach Primary School.

The P&C Committee supports the school and helps students reach their full potential by:

  • Fundraising to provide resources, facilities, and amenities for the school,
  • Organizing activities and events that foster a sense of community within the school,
  • Offering input from parents.

The P&C operates as a separate entity from the school and is governed by its own Constitution.
